This is a picture of Australia's Outback.

Really?

Yep, really.
Not as dry as you thought? Not so much the harsh and unforgiving interior you thought is was ?

There is a period in the year when the Australian Outback become so lush and green, you'd never think it was ever dry and dusty. It becomes the most beautiful and lovely place when it rains. "Contrary to popular belief the Australian Outback is not the driest desert but swings between frequent weather changes, spells of dryness and rains making it an unpredictable and beautiful. It is a wonderful experience to live in the Australian outback. It a place fraught with danger, adventure and fun."

Hmm... Sounds like my life.

No matter how vast a desert, no matter how dry and dusty and lifeless it may appear,... there is much more to it than it appears.

We've all heard that "after the rain comes the sun".
I like to think that after the rain, life is revealed in all its glory.

I never used to like deserts.
I love them now for the power and the life and the magic they hold.

Let it rain.

Namaste,
Sophie
